Korte inhoud en/of leerdoelen:

TU/e offers two-year (post-Master's) designer's programs. Like a doctoral candidate, you will have the status of TU/e employee if you are selected for one of these programs. The program starts with a year of advanced education, followed by a major design project of eight to twelve months in a company.

  • Focus on technical and non-technical competencies relating to efficient, effective design and development of technologies and applications for modern high-tech automotive systems.
  • The context is smart mobility and the related societal challenges. In particular, a focus on the multidisciplinary design aspects of project-based research and engineering in high-tech automotive systems. This is reflected in the key contributions by four TU/e departments.
  • Partly organized in cooperation with the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands.
  • All courses are taught in English, a Dutch language course is included

Wie moet deelnemen

The Post-Master's Program Automotive Systems Design is open to recent university graduates, in particular to Master's graduates from one of the following fields: Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Systems & Control or comparable. The candidate should furthermore have affinity with technology, an academic, critical attitude and a good awareness of the state of the art in engineering design for high tech systems, a clear ambition in an industrial career, better than average social and communicative competencies, including an excellent English proficiency in writing, speaking, reading, and understanding. We require the proof of an English proficiency test (academic IELTS score or TOEFL IBT, or Cambridge CAE/CPE). For the academic IELTS score the minimum score is 6.5 (CEFR level C1), with no individual scores below 6.0 and scores for speaking/writing of at least 6.5.
